I recently stumbled across this small flyer (approx. 4” x 5”) in my filing cabinet and thought I’d share it here. Nihilistics played the Silver Dollar Saloon in Harrison, NJ with Kraut 43 years ago today. Don’t ask me who went on first but it was probably us. We were ALWAYS opening for Kraut. This would’ve been a rare sojourn into New Jersey – though one of our earliest gigs was Nov. 20, 1981 at Mile Square City in Hoboken, preceding even our Dec. ‘81 Max’s Kansas City show (Nihilistics concert timeline, BTW, can be found here). We must’ve liked Silver Dollar Saloon (or they liked us) because we were back less than a month later on March 5.

I’m not quite sure what’s up with the graphic design on this flyer but it’s one of the very few I actually own. Maybe I should laminate it?
